Baby's Room!

We have Baby's room all set up. At least for now! I'm sure I'll want to change a million things but Mike and I put the crib and dresser together and made the crib up. It looks so cute. Simple but adorable! I can't wait to start using it!

Meanwhile

Since everything else has been about me and the baby, here's a section about Mike and Jessie.

Mike's been hunting and fishing. Jessie's been hanging out with me and then sticking right next to Mike's side when he's home. She's his buddy! Here they are working on the boat out back. She must have sat in that chair for about an hour.

Mike's friend brought over some fish after a fishing trip. They were out back cleaning them when they noticed one was still alive. Being the guys they are, they wanted to see if it would swim in the pool. Well, it did! It was in there for about 15 minutes before Jessie got it. She was dying to jump in but Mike wouldn't let her so she had to settle for waiting for it to swim over to the steps. She got it though!

For Valentines Day, Mike took me, his mom and my mom to Cheesecake Factory. It was such a nice treat! We had a great time catching up and enjoying a great meal. My mom got me tulips for Valentines Day. She knew they were my favorite.

Baby Shower!!

I finally had my baby shower! I was so worried I was going to go into labor and my kid wouldn't have anything except a stroller and two outfits, the ONLY things I had for this kid up until then. But God was good and I had my shower. He even kept Stephanie from going into labor until after my shower! She had her baby a few days later. I got so many things and everyone was so unbelievably generous in giving me everything they did. I haven't had to buy anything yet. Praise God. The only thing we are short on is clothes and that's just because we don't know what we're having. Once that's found out, we will have more clothes than our child will ever wear. Especially if it's a girl!! My mom assures me I have everything I need to last me for a while. Here are a few pictures of my shower. Enjoy!

Getting Ready

Besides moving in and enjoying the house. Kerry and I decided the baby's room needed to be painted. We chose a light color because the furniture I wanted was dark cherry. Also since we don't know if this is going to be a boy or girl we decided that an off white would probably be best. We got two sample colors that were pretty close together. Kerry painted two spots and then we looked at it.

What do you think? They look the same, huh? That's because they are! Yeah we are idiots. I put the paint on the floor that we had already done and she thought that was the one she needed to paint with. I wasn't paying any attention. We're special!

We worked all day! She kept making me leave the room every 30 minutes or so, so I could breath fresh air. Doing this stuff pregnant is really hard! It seriously irked that I had to keep stopping. Then when we got back from lunch, it was all I could do to help. I was exhausted! So, poor Kerry, had to finish the 2nd coat on her own. She did an amazing job though, huh?!

Catching Up

A lot has happened! Lets see, we've officially moved!! WooHoo! Our house is amazing and we are so blessed to be in this house!
We packed up out Lake Placid house in a day and moved it all down here to Davie. We only unpacked the bed that night and then the next day Mike had his friends help us get everything else out of the truck. I didn't realize how much we have! I don't know where we got it all either! I didn't get many pictures because I was busy moving what I could into the house. But I have one...

After we got everything unpacked (which let me tell you I won't do pregnant ever again!) we were finally able to enjoy the house! Mike and Jessie got into the pool. The water was freezing but it was great to be able to really sit down and just enjoy being home.

Jessie's had some adjusting to do. When I am walking around the house she doesn't know where to lay so she can see me all the time. She figured out a place though...

She lays at the top of the stairs. I was searching all over the house and outside for her and I couldn't find her. Then I looked up and there she was watching me the whole time. (Probably thinking, My mom is so dumb)
