| Elizabeth didn't like to wait, naturally, so I walked with her a lot. Finally Mom got her to sit and watch a video. YEAH!! |
| She was super excited to get on the plane and was wonderful for a 2 year old! She asked a million questions and complained a little. Never napped! But she did great and loved to fly. |
| She slept for maybe 15 minutes in the car then it was off to dinner with the family. |
| She loves the baby so much. |
| The next evening, we found a park and had some fun. |
| It's wonderful that she can go into these things alone now. |
| She jumps off anything she can. |
| I think she was fighting her fear of this thing. She walked right up to it but you could tell part of her wanted to back off. |
| She got each of us to sit on it. Mom has the pic of me. |
| She kept wanting to push these balls. I told her she couldn't but finally she just needed to figure it out herself. |
| And just to prove she wasn't too weak to do it, Gigi helped! |
| As soon as she woke up in the morning, she asked if she could hold Caroline. And if she cried, she would ask me why Carolina was sad or if she was ok. She was very concerned for her "Baby Cousin" |
| There is such victory in getting a baby to sleep for me! |
| Big yawn! |
| We found a place called "Sweet Frog" that sold frozen yogurt. It was wonderfully delicious! |
| Getting ready for bed. She looks so snuggly! |
| Smiling in her dreams... |
| We went to the mall just to walk around. But there was a lot more to do there! |
| Of course, these cars are a hit. AND free for me because she doesn't like to turn them on. |
| We found this carousel. I was wondering if she would be scared but she LOVED it. We went twice and each time she threw a HUGE fit when she had to get off. |
| We went for a ride on a little train. |
| And she got a lollipop. |
| See, holding her in her 'jamas! |
| We were busy running errands one day so she got a late nap. Well, when she woke up, I was so worried she wouldn't sleep well and plus she was super energetic. SO, we went to Monkey Joes. It's a bounce house. SHE LOVED IT. |
| I didn't get to get too many pictures because i had to do all of it with her. This is a toddler one she wasn't interested in. No, she wanted to go straight up to the big slide. |
| Just hanging around outside. |
| They offer horseback riding. For Elizabeth I thought their "pony ride" for 30 minutes was the best. |
| This was our horse. He was sweet. His name is Tiny. He's HUGE. |
| I went with her on the horse and had a nice man guide us through the woods. It was fun and Elizabeth wasn't the least bit afraid. She was born to ride a horse. (Watch out Dad!) |
| So much excitement! I didn't get onto the main road and she was out! |
| On Monday, she had so much energy, we went for a walk. To the ice cream shop and back. Look how pretty this bridge is! |

Videos in a post to follow. We had a wonderful time. I'm so glad we got to see Baby Caroline when she was so little. Kids grow so fast and I hate to miss any of Caroline's growing! North Carolina is beautiful and has so many things to do. I'm glad to be home but I will miss it there.
