On The Road Again

We're back on the road, working. It's taken us to central North Carolina right now. Its been really nice being only an hour from Kerry's house. The weather has also been a wonderful change! We had a little snow and an ice storm. I know, "Wonderful" doesn't sound right but it has been something I've never experienced before so I am enjoying every experience up here. There seems to be a few things I can get Elizabeth involved in too. But before I get going with our experiences up here, let me catch you up on Christmas and New Years!

Christmas Parade

We showed up for the Christmas parade but it got rained out. We got ice cream so it was all okay.
The following weekend they had the parade and we had a fun time. Elizabeth really enjoyed it.

Apparently, sliding is serious business...

Kerry and I

Elizabeth loves Toy Story and was very excited when I bought her these pajamas

Gigi and Caroline

She thinks the bunny ears are funny. She is almost 6 months here.

We had a wonderful Christmas. Elizabeth got many gifts but her favorite was a doll house.

And she got people for the dolls

But she enjoyed this baby and bath

This is the doll house
The girls. We accidentally all met in a Target parking lot! =)

For New Years Eve, we went to a friends house and burned their Christmas tree.

Elizabeth is getting ready for the cold weather... kinda

The granddaughters got these for Grandma this December. They sing together and Elizabeth loves them.

We took Elizabeth to Disney for the first time. She liked it but it was a badly planned trip. Next time, we will go at a less busy time.

Prince Charming and Cinderella. This was Elizabeth's favorite part

We're travelling to North Carolina
Elizabeth did wonderful!! She is one great traveler.

Then we went and visited Kerry

They bought a house right before Christmas

Leaves!

Elizabeth enjoys going to Sweet Frogs, frozen yogurt, and this time Cookie the frog was there.

Sadly, soon after we got here, my car had some serious problem. I like my new car but I had my old one for 9 1/2 years and I still miss it! =(

It snowed while we were at Kerry's. When we woke in the morning, this is all that was left. Not much fell but we were still excited.

Then we had an ice storm the following week.

It was such a cool experience.

On Saturday, we went for a long walk through the woods in the campground.

We got to see all the ice and Elizabeth got to see it melting too.

Mike went trout fishing in the river but there wasn't anything to be caught.

She's getting so big and is hopefully coming out of the terrible twos. They've been really hard. But she is so amazing that it makes it all worth it. Even though sometimes I feel like pulling my hair out.
