It's that time again!!

Hunting season's almost here! You know it's coming when Mike sets up all his hunting stuff in the livingroom. Jessie get's to try on her vest to make sure it still fits and I sit around and take pictures. You can't really tell how messy the livingroom was because I didn't think about getting the camera out until he was basically finished.
Opening weekend is this weekend and Mike's pretty excited. Everything is ready and waiting for early Saturday morning. I'll hopefully have more pictures to share then.

Baby Bump - 5 Months!

Here are some pictures of my 5 month baby belly. It's not too big yet but it's growing! It feels bigger some days! We STILL aren't going to find out the sex. It will be a surprise! We're are getting more and more excited about it. I've registered and already got a stroller from Grandma and a diaper bag from Kerry because they were the last ones at the store.
Not much else is going on with us. Mike's working and I'm finally a college graduate. I finished my last class at FSU and will officially graduate in December with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Social Science. And no, I don't know what I am going to do with it. =) We will have the kid first and see where we are later.

Hunting's Coming!

Hunting season is coming! You can tell it is when Mike's getting the duck boat ready! He was out in the garage with Jessie setting it up for a while. And it's looking good! Deer hunting is going on but Mike hasn't been able to get out to camp with working. He could have gone a couple times but figured since it was his one day he'd get other things done. He did go out and shoot a doe a few weeks ago. But other than that, so far, that's all he's killed this season. Hopefully he'll get to hunt the ducks and deer on Thanksgiving weekend!!
I guess he (finally) got aggravated with how messy the garage was because he started cleaning it up. He did most of the work. He told me I wasn't allowed to be lifting anything heavy so I mostly stood around giving moral support. It looks beautiful and amazing! And most of the spiders are gone. I was so excited about it because I've been wanting to clean up the garage for a long time! Now, everytime I walk through it, I sigh with relief! LOL!

Books

I've been reading a lot lately. So, I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you so you can enjoy them too.
With the vampire/werewolf craze a slew of novels have suddenly become popular. Most of them are generic but some stand out.
Karen Marie Moning also is writing a series called the "Fever series". I've posted before about them but I HAVE to say it again. They are an awesome series! On the edge of your seat and in love with the characters, kind of book. If you haven't read them, READ THEM! They are so enjoyable! Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever and Dreamfever. The 5th (and last) will come out in about a year I guess, and it will be Shadowfever.
Patricia Brigg's "Mercy Thompson" novels stand out. They are fun and you really love Mercedes, the VW mechanic. The romance she has between two were-wolves is a lot of fun and sometimes heartbreaking. Briggs created a lot of great characters in these books! There are 4 and another one is set to come out. I think she's set to write a total of 7 books for the Mercy series.
"Tempted" by P.C. Cast is the 6th book to come out of the "House of Night" series about a girl named Zoey who is marked to become a vampire. The books are her journey through "vampire high school" and all her boy troubles. There is of course, more life altering danger that she has to deal with which makes this book more than just another 'teen' book. I enjoyed this book a lot and cried like a baby towards the end of it.
"The Time Travelers Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger was a great book! It was difficult to start because of the way she writes the book but once you give it a chance, you are more than paid off for your effort. It was such a great story and I cried throughout it! If you saw the movie, it's basically the same, the book just gives more explanation and makes some parts more important than the movie did. But otherwise, I didn't see anything completely off or forgotten. It's really hard to explain this book but it really was worth reading!
There are so many other books I've read but for now that should keep you busy! Enjoy!
