Books

I've been reading a lot lately. So, I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you so you can enjoy them too.
With the vampire/werewolf craze a slew of novels have suddenly become popular. Most of them are generic but some stand out.
Karen Marie Moning also is writing a series called the "Fever series". I've posted before about them but I HAVE to say it again. They are an awesome series! On the edge of your seat and in love with the characters, kind of book. If you haven't read them, READ THEM! They are so enjoyable! Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever and Dreamfever. The 5th (and last) will come out in about a year I guess, and it will be Shadowfever.
Patricia Brigg's "Mercy Thompson" novels stand out. They are fun and you really love Mercedes, the VW mechanic. The romance she has between two were-wolves is a lot of fun and sometimes heartbreaking. Briggs created a lot of great characters in these books! There are 4 and another one is set to come out. I think she's set to write a total of 7 books for the Mercy series.
"Tempted" by P.C. Cast is the 6th book to come out of the "House of Night" series about a girl named Zoey who is marked to become a vampire. The books are her journey through "vampire high school" and all her boy troubles. There is of course, more life altering danger that she has to deal with which makes this book more than just another 'teen' book. I enjoyed this book a lot and cried like a baby towards the end of it.
"The Time Travelers Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger was a great book! It was difficult to start because of the way she writes the book but once you give it a chance, you are more than paid off for your effort. It was such a great story and I cried throughout it! If you saw the movie, it's basically the same, the book just gives more explanation and makes some parts more important than the movie did. But otherwise, I didn't see anything completely off or forgotten. It's really hard to explain this book but it really was worth reading!
There are so many other books I've read but for now that should keep you busy! Enjoy!
