North Carolina or South Carolina?

We're back in North Carolina. We're supposed to go to South Carolina... sometime! But for now, we are around the Charlotte area. We've been visiting friends and having camper problems and noise problems! But we have hot water, electric and a safe, clean place to stay! That's success in my book!

We had a great trip back to NC.

We are very lucky Elizabeth is such a great traveler.

We went to a friends house and they have a pony, Tiny.

The girls loved Tiny.

Layla and Elizabeth.

We had some problems with the camper so we hung out at their house while the guys worked on it.

We go to parks a lot.

We went to pick up our dry cleaning and I saw a sign for picking strawberries!

So we went!

She did a great job and had a good time.

I promise, she loved it.

We ran some errands on Saturday. Elizabeth was going on and on about Chuck E Cheese! Well, we were on our way home and realized she had seen the building. We turned around and let her play a while.

It's a little to old for her but she had a good time.

Of course, she had to ride the horse.

And she got some of the games. We had a good time and she was able to get a couple small toys.

This is a park in the town we are staying in. It's pretty cool and it's big! this is only one part of it.

Elizabeth's new night gown. She loves the excuse of a night gown so she can wear a "princess dress" to bed!

Home

We're HOME! We had no idea until the day we left that we were going. And we were planning a long weekend home and then back to South Carolina for another job. Well, our planning never works out very well!

Playing at Gigi's house. She was very surprised to see us.

Elizabeth's 1st haircut! She just needed it all evened up.

She was very serious the whole time. And I think she enjoyed it.

We went out on the airboat with Mike

Cheese!

We had a great time.

Mike found some shells for her. She was very excited and we have them in a glass jar at home.

Then we finished up our airboat ride with ice cream!

Caroline was back in North Carolina but how cute is she anyway?!

Elizabeth LOVES to shoot her bow. So Mike set her up with one of his arrows and a target.

She did pretty good. We're working on aiming but she gets the general idea... sometimes.

We were able to hang out with Mandy and Macie a lot.

Cheese!!

The girls are getting so big, it's amazing to watch them grow up together.

We went to a wedding for friends. Elizabeth liked her new dress but there were a lot of new people so she wouldn't smile.

Hey, we're all in the picture. That's what matters!

Again, cute, right?! That's Cash, the new addition to the Varner family.

Doesn't she look like a girl?! I mean no baby anymore. It smacked me in the face.

And she's back to being little! She and Macie took a ride in Elizabeth's car.

Here we are going to the lake together.

Mike went fishing a lot and caught a ton of big fish. He had a wonderful trip home.

More beach playing

Elizabeth and Macie dressed up one afternoon. Again, its so amazing how they play together. They are adorable.

Cute girls!! Miss you Macie!!

Easter and Friends

We really enjoyed being in Asheboro. We made some great friends and Elizabeth (and I) LOVED gymnastics. I was very sad to leave. Luckily, out departure was quick. I was given 3 hours to pack before we were on the road to go... HOME! But before we get there, here's our March!

She is saying, "I Am Merida! Firstborn of Clan Dunbroch and I'll be shooting for my own hand!"
My kids crazy! I love it.

Here's Caroline and Elizabeth. Caroline is adorable isn't she?!

This is the Pisgah Covered Bridge

All over, people have written on it. It's very cool.

There's a nice little path you can walk around.

These are friends we made Ayden and Kailey.

Everywhere we went, we found some kind of "ride" Elizabeth had to do.

Here, she's making a necklace.
This is part of the Pisgah Covered Bridge trail. We went two times and this time, we climbed the rocks with our friends.

Without three dogs and two kids, it would have been much easier!

Afterwords, we went back to the campground and the kids jumped on this Kangaroo Jumper. Elizabeth loved this thing! Unfortunately, it wasn't always blown up.

Kailey invited us to their church for an Easter Egg Hunt.

After the hunt

Ayden and Elizabeth

Slacker that I am, I forgot to bring a basket. So they shared.

What the Easter Bunny brought Elizabeth

Caroline and her cute self!

Elizabeth practicing the balance beam at the campground.

It was our first real hot day so we pulled out the toys and bowls of water!
