3 Day Weekend
Mike's new schedule has him working 2 weeks on and 3 days off. Which is really nice for us to be able to go do things together. We went to the zoo and aquarium, Cabelas, the park and then just hung out outside the RV. It was such a nice relaxing weekend.
Mike held E a lot of the time we were at the zoo.
Some of the animals she was scared of
Other animals she thinks are cool enough to risk getting close to the glass!
Mama and Baby Elephant. I kind of felt bad for these elephants. They so badly wanted out of this little area. The mama kept walking to the door. And I think all the people were making her anxious.
This was awesome! You could touch the sting rays when they swam close to you. Mike tried to get E to touch them but none got close enough.
There were SO many people surrounding it that he couldn't get her to them anyway.
She LOVES ice pops. So we bought her a snow cone. Which was great but her 1st shirt was SOAKED. So I changed her shirt. And then we got ice cream. She LOVE it.
There was a little boy next to us who was dying for some ice cream too. He was sitting there just looking at the ice cream. E didn't pay any attention to him since she was busy eating.
A view from the highway
We were really excited to go to Cabelas. We've never been to one. We've been to a lot of Bass Pro's, Gander Mountains, Academy's but not any Cabelas.
My dare-devil kid!
Look Mom, No Hands!
Driving with Daddy
Elizabeth loves to "Drive".
So we took her for a drive around the park.
And stopped to take some pictures
Pretty, huh?
It's been pretty warm here. Not like Florida or Georgia but warm anyway.

Finger Food
Elizabeth's appetite is pretty finicky. But we had spaghetti the other night and she ate like she was never going to eat again!
Luckily she'd been running around in just her diaper.
Because she made a huge mess.
I couldn't believe how much she ate!
I read that at Elizabeth's age, its a fun time to introduce finger painting.
So I made some out of flour, water and food coloring.
It's a good thing I made it myself because, of course, she ate it!
But we had fun, for about 5 minutes
Until she decided picking up rocks and throwing them on the paper was more fun.
Then she was done and put her paper and paint on the steps then ran off...

Pennsylvania Fun!
Elizabeth is getting so big, it's amazing. She loves swinging on "big" swings instead of the baby ones.
We went to a park up here and I had no idea that there was this... fountain/sprinkler area! I've never really seen one before. We didn't have any bathing suits but made do with what I had in the diaper bag. It was a lot of fun. She was pretty nervous at first but she eventually got out there.
There isn't any sound and the video isn't great because I took it on my cell phone. If I get better ones, I'll post them. Sorry.

Technology
Elizabeth loves for Mike to play music on his iPhone. She will walk around the house holding the phone and dancing to it. Lately, she's been talking on it too. She apparently figured out how to open the phone too. Watch the screen. It's hard to see her little fingers at work but you can see what she does if you look closely at the screen. Kids are amazing. No wonder Jesus loves the little children!

Georgia Summers
Ooh, Cool... What the crap is it?! Put it down...
I wanted to get Elizabeth a new toy for outside
And this one is a walker, a ride on and a skate board!
The way I look at it, I spent $40 and got a great toy that will last a while!
Especially since she's on it for a couple minutes and then plays in the rocks.
But kids will always be happier with the box than the toy that in it.
She likes to sit on it in front of the TV in the mornings
But it was worth the $4 and the effort to go. She had a lot of fun.
And I got to sit in the water and watch her run around for a change.
Run around she did! In the water and out of the water. Over the blanket and back in the water.
Play in the sand and back in the water.
Then she'd walk down the beach some and back up to me.
It definitely was great exercise for her!
When we left the beach, I wanted to look around a little at what else was inside the park.
And we found a pier!
So we walked down there and took a look.
Look how pretty!
There's so many geese in Georgia. Elizabeth knows geese anywhere she goes now.
I couldn't get her to look at me because it was so sunny and she refuses to keep her hat on.
