Florida Trip

In June, Grandpa passed away. Kerry and I stayed with the kids for a couple weeks that way we were able to spend time with Grandma and the rest of the family. We spent a lot of time outside in the lake.

Dad drove us to the airport in the RV which was awesome with the girls. Best way to travel with kids!

April

A week after we moved in, our friend was getting married. We drove to south Georgia for his fabulous wedding weekend. It was a lot of fun and was beautiful!

Mike and Jesse shot turkeys out at camp.

Elizabeth and our neighbor Leela, fishing with Mike.

Mike and E mowing our 5 acres

Elizabeth and Caroline

The first room we decorated was Elizabeths. She wanted it two toned and picked out the colors. Then we found this bed set. She loves it!

We practice shooting in the yard pretty often.

A Very Busy Year

Jeez, It's been almost a year since I posted last. Slacker! It's okay, you know you were thinking it! Here are some highlights from this last year.
Girls Night! Some friends of our surprised me with a girls weekend! It was a much needed weekend!

We got our first real snow. This is in Charlotte at the beginning of this year.

It was pretty cold. It got into the single digits. We LOVED it!

Then we moved to a farm north of Greensboro. There were so many animals we got to walk around and pet and feed.

And then it snowed.

And snowed...

And snowed!

After about three days of snow we had our first TRUE snow! It was about a foot of snow and the most they have had in over 30 years.

The biggest news of all is WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! Finally!

It's truly amazing and a gift straight from God!
There is so much to do here! Elizabeth and Mike get to spend a lot of time together which wasn't something we could do much when we were traveling. We didn't have the space or the opportunity to get outside and do a lot of the stuff we love to do!
Like Fishing!
