Even More Changes

So, I wrote in my last post that things were changing. Mike was trying to start a business. I was getting certified in Medical Billing and Billy was living with us. Well, again there are more changes. Mike was offered to work at Attaway (where we met) as a welder in Tampa. He needed to get certified but other than that we were set. So, he studied and practiced and went last Tuesday to take the test. He got there and it was a different test than he had practiced for. Naturally he was nervous but he did the weld and was told that it was a really clean weld (that's good). He passed, PRAISE GOD!!! Then we find out that he has to work in Fort Lauderdale for 3 months working with the Tampa crew on a tank. I am not complaining, this is a great job opportunity for Mike and I. It's just another time where we aren't settled anywhere. While in Tampa he will also be traveling to other states when the jobs come up. Anyway, he's down there now and I am going to go also to visit with all of our friends and see him for a little while. Once we move to Tampa we will see a lot less of our friends and my sister so I want to spend as much time with them as I can.

When Mike left on Sunday, he took Billy with him since we weren't going to be in one place consistently and Billy would miss school. We were all doing well with Billy here. He went to school all the time and was making good grades, helping around the house but he needs to finish school so we had no choice. Mike and I both feel badly about it but right now we need to take these opportunities and unfortunately they aren't in one place.

As for me, I passed my Medical Billing certification! Another PRAISE GOD!!! I also applied to FSU to start an online program in Interdisciplinary Social Science. (It's just a general degree pretty much) Hopefully I'll have my bachelors in a year but we'll see. Other than that I am learning how to make clothes from scratch. My first project is a dress and Mom's helping so it will probably look good! Mike and I are trying to take everything one day at a time and deal with the stress of not knowing when we will be where or even where we will end up! I guess this is one of God's ways to make us grow and trust in Him.
