August 15th all the girls drove up to Lake Placid for a relaxing girls weekend. Katie brought her daughter, Emma and the other Katie brought her dog Boondock. I brought Jessie and Jodi brought Squirt. Mandy and Kerry were there also but didn't have any 'kids' to bring along. Everyone got there late Friday night and we ate dinner then watched a movie and went to bed. We woke up early the next day and went to the fire station to look at the fire trucks and mostly, to let Emma get pictures with it all, at least that was our excuse. We had fun taking pictures on the front of the fire truck though! After that we went over to Mom and Dad's new house and went out on the boat. We went back on Sunday and did it all over again! It was so much fun! We were tubing and skiing, knee-boarding and wake-boarding. We drove home Sunday afternoon and I'm sure it wasn't only me who was exhausted!
